What a day!!! I was in the back seating area so the stage looked like tiny people moving about but they had huge screens and excellant sound. The stage rotated so there was very little down time. It was a Strat fest for sure. Huge Fender sponsorship! Only 2 Gibsons, B.B. King and Derek Trucks. It was interesting to watch the crowd as everyone was there for their "favorite". I will say it was odd to see alot of people leaving when Steve Winwood and Clapton were playing together. Don't think they realized how historic it was! I had a couple from the Netherlands and he said that moment gave him goosebumps. I had forgotten what a great guitar player SW is! Every performance really was spot on. I was thrilled to see Johnny Winter not only play well but walk on and off the stage unaided!! Lots of folks got turned on to acts they didn't know like Robert Randolph. There was a small stage in the guitar village where Tab Benoit had a great jam. Also saw Albert Lee there prior to going on the big stage. Another highlit was the young lady playing bass with Jeff Beck, one of my favorites because she was having such a great time. Rumor was she was Beck's daughter but I see that's been clarified. I got to meet forum friends David and his wife, Bill S and his beautiful daughter Carly, Lee and his girlfriend, and Rob and friends. I wish you all could have been there! Cathy
