Awesome gig yesterday at Kwadendamme.Maybe the best gig i saw of the Ryan McGarvey Band.There were a lot of people there and everyone was dancing and singing.

That´s what they did: still better than last year!And Bluesrock Review is absolutely right that "Redefined will go down as one of best albums of the year". They write also that "names like Bonamassa, Trucks, and Sayce are often mentioned as modern day guitar heroes, and it won’t be long until Ryan McGarvey enters the equation". I think he has already.

It was a weekend with 3 mindblowing gigs of the band and tons of impressions ... wonder what I shall do this week when the band is in Austria and Switzerland ???

Gerry McAvoy's band of Friends and Ryan: stunning combination!  Marcel Scherpenzeel is the guitarplayer and singer of the band, he is great rocking. Gerry Mc Avoy and Ted Mckenna playey w were in Rory's band and they invited Ryan tp play with them.

Unfortunately I couldn't go because my son Bram had a soccertournement 2 hours driving away and I had to drive.he did very well but I would love to have seen the gigs in Kwadendamme  Marcel and Ryan playing together. I would have been so special to me! Why?? Marcel and Ryan did both did A Blues In The Schools in my school, like Joe did too!!!!

Joe in 2008, Marcel in 2009 and Ryan in 2012!!!!! Very small world!! And the late Michael Burks in 2010.

Kwadendamme was awesome!! Ryan sold the most cd's in the 20 years of this festival after he had finished playing.
Unfortunately we weren't able to see him with the Band of Friends, with work calling the next morning...
Wegberg was also awesome!!! This very cute and small pub, packed with ppl! There was a local harmonica player joining in and this made the setlist different than the other times! No regrets going there: beautiful biketrips at saturday and sunday to from this lovely German region!

Absolutely stunning gig in Munich again on Sunday - they keep getting better and better. And the new album is definitely on "power-play" here ... I think they have a similar spirit like Joe in the early days - you can tell how passionate they are about their music. These guys will play the big venues soon, as we all keep saying...

Ryan McGarvey,Justin McLaughlin and Bjorn Hamre were awesome yesterday on the accoustic gig yesterday at Cafe de Comm at Groesbeek.Last year the accoustic gig was very good but this one was so much better.Still cann't believe it.
