Topic: the blues and the crossroads
First of all, I'm not sure if I should post this on general topics or under off topics so let it be moved as you see fit. This is not strictly Bonamassa related but I can imagine any blues guy whether on a tour bus or or not to find it fascinating so I thought I'd share it here.
Radio Lab, my favorite radio show, did a short story on the story of the Crossroads as it's known in the world of blues. It's an intriguing listen:
In this short, we go looking for the devil, and find ourselves tangled in a web of details surrounding one of the most haunting figures in music--a legendary guitarist whose shadowy life spawned a legend so powerful, it's still being repeated...even by fans who don't believe a word of it.
