Wow that sounds like good fun smile never played live myself but I'd absolutely love to one day! (Maybe even with the man himself if I ever get the chance to! big_smile ) I will search for that video!

Nice job as usual man! Wish I could do more of that, great trick to have in your bag when you start playing out. I feel silly trying to give advice on this because I'm nowhere as go as you at the chickin pickin thing, but I'd say try and refrain from some of the left hand wrist tremolo/vibrato a bit. I only say this because I struggle with it too when I try and play in that style and I force myself to relax my left hand and arm and I find that I can do cleaner fingering patterns. Its such a fast paced style that I try and focus more on getting my left hand fingers where they need to be and since their isn't much time between notes I don't worry about the vibrato so much. Nice delay tone in there too, and great overall tone! -S

Sorry to be so late to the party Jonny. Very impressive playing for all styles. You have a really nice touch. Young players make me, and many others, happy! We need to find a way to keep you all in a special place, so we can keep track. Danny Gatton was amazing. The Gatonizer is historic. Again, so nice to see a young person with such mature taste.  wink  Cathy

Seth that's really great advice! I will definitely experiment with that tomorrow and see where it takes me ! Is it a concious effort to keep your arms relaxed and not apply the vibrato so much? Thanks a lot man smile
