Imagine my delight when I found out today that Ryan will at last be playing in my home town! On May 26 in the same small club that VATA played last month, a 20 minute walk away, or two tram stops, right in town. I know that Ryan is thrilled to bits about this, and so am I!!!
COUNTDOWN: 3 DAYS
Can't wait to get my copy of Redefined this Saturday at Topos.
There's another date in the Netherlands:
27 May - Cafe de Comm, Groesbeek, NL (acoustic show)
Not happy with the new dates. It's the weekend of the Grolsch Blues Festival and that's the place where I'll be.
I'm extremely down that I'll miss those gigs and especially the acoustic show.
And now bad news for England:
It seems that the gig at the Camerons Club in Hartlepool has been cancelled.
Mike, I'll get a copy for you on Saturday and send it over to you.
Just seen the news - Feelin' gutted.
Eva, thank you so much for that - "may your bathroom be forever free of Tigers". Let me know how I can repay you.
Would you pass on to Ryan and the team a message - not to give up on the UK. He has fans and friends here and we're eager to get him over for some gigs and we'll do what we can to make it happen.

I feel for you Mike, I really do. I also tried to do my little bit by passing on a name of someone who might have known some possible venues, but that also came to nothing. It was always on the cards that it would be economically unviable to come to the UK just for one show. How about a weekend in Amsterdam!?

We feel your pain in the States too!!! Cathy

Gutted. Had my music lovin kids fired up for that one too. Can understand the point about not being economically viable though. Still gutted!!

By the way I feel good that my bathroom will be foreever free of tigers. That makes live easier
Huh? You had a plague of tigers there? If I had known....;)
CU Saturday!!!
So, no Schoeppingen for me this year. Def NOT!
COUNTDOWN: 2 DAYS
The guys are over the clouds heading towards London. They could play some tunes at the airport ... just to let England know what they will miss ...
I'm close to crazy.
@ Bibi: Tradition is tradition. Schöppingen forever
Thanks folks - Duncan tried for some gigs in Scotland and even Martin L & Virgil tried bending some ears on Ryan's behalf. Just tell Ryan he has fans here, and hopefully next time.
Great offer on the week-end in Amsterdam - might just take that up sometime. Often think it would be easier for the bands to stay on home ground, and we tour round them.... The week-end isn't a write-off though, still got Hamilton Loomis at Guisborough; and I'd never though I'd consider someone like Ham-bone as "plan b".
Yeah, Tigers in the bathroom are bad news - they use up all your conditioner, shred your shower curtains and hide in the stripy towels waiting to pounce.
Mike
COUNTDOWN: TODAY, 8:30 pm
Hm, yesterday: 2 days ??? Summertime? Wintertime? Rotation of the earth?
Sorry for confusing with my Countdown. I need an app on my mac that counts for me.
So, I won't start counting the hours! But I do.
Have a look at that:

Can't wait to unfold that CD, get it signed and put it into the player.
Bibi, what time are you in Leverkusen? We'll be there at about 6:00 pm to have some dinner before.
And then let's set the Topos on fire!
And you guys from Scotland and UK: we'll let Ryan know that he has some fans in the UK.
It's incredible that so many people tried to get him some gigs. Next time it will work.
I'm sure Ryan's tour will get some good press and that the new CD will even be noticed in the UK ...
I believe that Ryan's Dutch harem has met up with Eva by now to form an awesome all-girl welcoming posse.
Have fun girls, don't forget to check in.
If you guys are not too busy enjoying Ryan's hot sounds and pin-up good looks - the guys at Sedgefield Rock'n'Blues Club would be interested in booking Ryan if they can get a date and money to match.
Pass it on.... Please.....

Just back from a fantastic weekend. Totally tired but not so tired as the band who flew at daybreak to Vienna.
Do you have a contact address and I'll pass that on straight away.
Review will follow the next days ... I have to dream ... I need to sleep ...
Mike your CD is on its way ... you'll probably the first in the UK that will have one!

Thanks for these, Eva! I have to be honest, Henrik outshines Ryan here. In fact, Henrik kicks some major butt!! What a voice!
