My heart beats the rough rhythm of pain and sorrow today also Geko. I lost my first cousin, the sister of my first cousin I lost in 2003, both only in their forties, last Thursday. I am in Orlando, and it is not magical today (grieving with family), otherwise I could bring them back. Fortunately I am grateful for the memories I CAN bring back, even if they invoke tears...I always thnk of my Grandfather when I hear Asking Aound For You, epsecially due to the playing cards reference. He was the greatest poker player & could of put many of these poker "superstars" to the curb...
he's been gone 34 years and I still miss him terribly. Up to the time he died, I would never cry about anything. Now it's weird not to cry over anything....Dog the Bounty Hunter episodes...let's stop there. Good blues, rock, soul,, even country rap & classical, more than anything else music pulls me back into happiness. A close second is a good laugh. Anyone in need of happiness today-I pray it comes your way. I'll start with prayers for your friends' family, friends, and especially you Geko.
Rock On & Keep the Faith,
Rocket
P.S.-I just put on CCR-Down On the Corner (Willy & the Poor Boys), Stevie Ray Vaughn-Willy the Wimp (hope your Willy's coffin isn't a Cadillac), and even The Sweet-Little Willy
