yeah the guitar vintage market is made up of both real "supply and demand" rules but other esoteric facts as well, one being the "who owned it factor" which may add a few thousands of dollars for someone like J. Geils, to quite a hefty chunk of dough, say if Clapton still had and was selling his Beano. I think the price for this is a bit high, but with the economy recovering and the markets stabilizing it may fetch that much. Let us not forget that in the 90's these were going for about 400K. That said the refin an the neck repait do lessen the value, but may be "overruled" by the low supply of 59's. All in all a beautiful guitar for certain.
