Mfg Date: No date on back of warranty card, but "Inspected by" says "3/31"
Quality Issues: Yes.
1. Mild feathered/broken paint line edge isolated to the gold paint line at the binding near the front strap button. Looks like a jagged edge from where the tape protecting the binding was taken off after the gold paint dried. It's about 1/2 inch long and somewhat jagged.

2. Some gouges/abrasions in the rosewood fret board at the first fret, beneath the low E 6th string - about 1/4 inch square, directly behind the first fret wire. Not sure what might have caused this. I may try to lightly sand the area with a green scouring pad to see if I can smooth out the area. I can't feel it when I play and you can barely notice it unless you're inspecting it and viewing it at an angle to the light.

Other than above cosmetic issues, the rest of the guitar is visually flawless. The electronics seems solid and working fine. The tuners are fine. This thing is a beast. It looks great, sounds great and plays great.

Quality Issues:  Filthy and very dry fretboard.  Frets were not polished.  I took care of the fretboard and frets myself (shouldn't have to do that for a $700.00 guitar).

Quality Issues: slight scuff on rear edge in black paint...very minor

I litterly have had this guitar for less than an hour. Big Brown just dropped it off.
Both outer and inner box in good shape. Guitar case perfect. Scuff in paint had to be caused before it was put into case. Very minor, nothing Ill complain about and its in a spot that will get warn with time anyway. Other than that everything looks good.

If you have just got the Epi at the first opportunity stick some top wrapped 11-48's or 11-52's in. The sound, tone and playability is so much improved. You will love it.

I just received it today and needless to say it is flawless. Plays Awesome and sounds like a dream. Hooked it up to my Fender Mustang amp and literally knocked a picture off the wall. No complaints on my end at all except the UPS guy that dropped the package off left the box sitting up on end and the wind blew it over before I had a chance to grab it. Luckily there was no damage!!!

Had mine a week.. can't put the bloody thing down its so nice.. tried a Gibson Les Paul Supreme on saturday and i mud say it didn't play any better. And it was 4 times the price.. i couldn't be happier! Really hoping to get it signed by joe at brighton next month!

hi, i just got my jb goldtop yesterday and im very impressed!! it is absolutely flawless all over, there isnt a mark or blemish anywhere on the whole guitar! i had a 2008 gibson les paul standard a couple of years ago and the quality on this epi is as good as that!
i love the chunky neck and the weight of the guitar! the sound is amazing too!! the only downside to the guitar is that it doesnt come with a little bag of talent!! lol
i also think i found one of the last ones for sale in the uk, i looked online and called a few shops, and there was only this one and another one in stock in any of the places i tried! can anyone confirm exactly how many were actually made? i keep seeing the 1000 only, but then i see other places that say there were more made?
