Re: When do you quit worrying about money?

Great words of wisdom everyone.I think it takes god family and friends to help you pull up the boot straps and move forward.I appreciate the responses Robin ,Rick and Shreddy. The more you can hear encouragement the better.
I also agree with Robin that you can't beat yourself up to much or too long.Everyone makes mistakes and bad decisions over a lifetime. As long as you learn from them.Sometimes things are more or less out of your control.
My girlfriend told me a story of how her mom always said to her"I would rather live on a rooftop with the right person than live in a penthouse with  the wrong person.

Re: When do you quit worrying about money?

If you didn't worry about money you would find something else to worry about to replace it. Human nature I suppose. Why do we do it?

Re: When do you quit worrying about money?

Ricks words resonate with me right now. I'm at that point with my own business. It is on the ropes and it seems to be getting more difficult.
I know what I need to do and the assistance I need from the bank and local authorities isn't so very much and yet the barriers that are placed in the way make it all extremely hard.
In 7 years, I've never missed a payment, the account has never been in minus and I've run it without a line of credit. I provide work (not full time) over a 7 month period for about 7 people. But all this counts for nothing.
Small businesses in Germany get crushed by the burocracy and arrogance of the state. It makes you just want to walk away. There are very few incentives here for small businesses.

I shall be keeping my head down for now but I am beginning to feel it is the head/brick wall syndrome. Nice when it stops.................
