So the supa trem arrived this morning and with the wife out I plugged it in instead of doing the dishes. I set it up with the settings joe uses in the pedalboard image link. I never read the instructions and thought i'd try it before messing with the internal pots. One word - Amazing! Left on it really enhances the tone. My TR-7 is on it's way - will keep the danelectro as a spare.
I think I am now pretty happy with my pedal board. Only 1 thing to change but I'll get to that.
I was going for bonamassa/hedrix/sayce/grissom and a bit of eric johnson in there too.
MY board now runs,
Dunlop Standard Crybaby ( I have the hendrix one too but prefer the standard- might try the bonamassa wah)
Dunlop Hendrix Fuzz
Dunlop Hendrix Octavia
Fulltone Supa Trem
Fulltone Fulldrive
Line 6 M5
Fulltone Deja Vibe
ZVEX box of rock (on all the time - boost off and all knobs at 12)
Into a 89 Jubilee 50/25 on the clean channel with Joe's settings. Boos RV-5 and MXR Carbon Copy or DD3 in the loop.
Marshall power brake
Zilla Cabs 2x12 with a 1x12 baffle installed loaded with a EV12L Speaker.
Homemade plexi baffle in front.
This is a fantastic sounding rig and hopefully I'll keep it this way for a while. Considering changing the M5 for a M9 as I will be able to run up to 3 pedals at once with that. That way I can have tube screamer and rotary drum effect at the same time.
In a nutshell - Get a supatrem - it's taken me a long time and saving to get this rig and it has been well worth it.
