Re: NCAA Basketball

Congrats to IU Scott, what a great game to watch. I also noticed that pick at the end that stopped at least one foul, but they had another chance before throwing it out for the 3 pointer and blew it big time. I don't know if I agree that John was outcoached by Tom, he said "we tried to give it back to them.......". Indiana gave up so many points right at the rim, they could not cut off any KY players in the 2nd half coming to the basket. This is what makes college basketball my favorite sport next to college football.
But what happened in the Xavier vs Cinncinnati game really made me sick. Gangsta thugs on both teams, jawing away at each other and the refs did little to settle anybody down. I thought that Yates and the guy that kicked Freese should have received no less than 10 game suspensions. The Xavier coach made some great apologies afterwards, but they seem a little hollow now. We do remember what happened to Blount at Oregon, just totally dismissed. Xavier has a pretty good team, they are not going to dismiss anyone for the year. Totally uncalled for, as Ditka's NFL segment goes, "STOP IT" !!!
Bama improved last night with a win over high scoring Detroit, a good team with some impressive wins. We shut down their 3 ball, a lesson learned from our previous loss, and Jamychal Green had a great game while staying out of foul trouble.Tres

Tres,
Please forgive me for my rash statement about coaches. I fell victim to my brother-in-law's primo home brew and was well into me cups when I shot that post. I thought we'd have to wait till next year to have a chance to beat the Cats.
That Detroit club you beat is coached by an ex IU assistant who took his star son with him to Michigan. Another Sampson low-life that's long forgotten in Indiana.
