This would be awesome if it happens.  I'm still really digging "How the West Was Won."  Neither it nor Joe's cd's want to come out of the changer.  I may have to get a bigger one or just use my ipod in my car, lol.

Well, personally I'm glad they didn't, it's a lot better than Lynyrd Skynyrd picking at the dead corpse of Ronnie Van Zant. There's a way to do it that's not disrespectful. The Allman Brothers come to mind.

Now that's where I'll disagree. Pete and Roger actually still rock. Them and McCartney and Clapton are three from the 60s that have aged extremely well. Just check this video from Live 8 about two years ago. Roger Daltrey can still sing extremely well. Plus, I loved him on his guest appearance on Never Make A Move Too Soon on BB King's 80.

Lynyrd Skynard was nothing but respectful.

Remember the whole band was involved in the crash.  They had to rehabilitate from their wounds and put their lives back together.  It was ten years before the band decided to regroup with Ronnie's brother Johnny Van Zant.  They also had Allen Collins come out.  It was very moving.  Lynyrd Skynyrd is family and Ronnie was there brother.  They grew up together.  There is a closeness that is more than a band.  Lynyrd Skynyrd does their upmost to respect the memories of Ronnie, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines and there road manager Dean Kilpatrick. 

I went to there first tour after they decided the time was right to play again.  For the last song they did Freebird and Johnny put his hat on the microphone as a tribute to his brother with the song being played as an instrumental.

P.S.  The Who played the next day after John's passing.   If that's o.k., than how was Lynyrd Skynyrd disrepectful?

I'm sorry, that's just what I think. After seeing a documentary on the feud between them and Artimus Pyle on VH1, I'm just not that impressed with them. Just my thoughts.

The way they treated Artimus Pyle, for one. But I'm not going to get into this. This is what I'm going to believe. Period. End of discussion.

Robert Plant has shot down reports that LED ZEPPELIN will reunite for a one-off memorial concert in honor of their late record company boss.

A report was published earlier in the week suggesting that Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones will re-group alongside John Bonham's son Jason for a special concert in memory of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun in London.

A source was quoted as saying, "Page, Plant and Jones spoke and agreed to do the memorial concert. They are waiting for a definite date.

"And no one can quite believe it, but during discussions about the concert they all gave the green light to a tour if it all does well and they don't all fall out.

"It has been hoped for and denied for years. But this is the closest they have ever come to a reunion tour. The feeling is that this is going to happen next year."

Speaking at a press conference for the upcoming Rockwave festival — which is scheduled to be held June 29, June 1 and June 3 in Athens, Greece — Plant insisted that he hadn't heard anything about the rumored ZEPPELIN reunion and jokingly added, "If there was one, then there wouldn't be enough doctors to support it!"

I'm not surprised. I've heard this rumor before, and then it was subsequently shot down. I'm gonna bet the house they never get back together. Plant has repeatedly said he no longer wants to tread back over old ground.
