Topic: DD3 or Carbon Copy Analog Delay & MXR OD M-66 / M-193 or TS 808 Ibanez

It's look like is a Mathématic question but like you Know ,it's just about to found a nice sound with différent pédals.
I got a MXR Dyna Comp and playing this one with m'y JB Fuzz Face ,it's Sound very good to me,i triyed aswell with MXR Micro Flanger ,that was ok,i just have to figur out in witch order they play best.
What do you think about
MXR OD M-66 & OD M-193
MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay
And
MXR Distortion +

I'd go Comp, Fuzz then Overdrives/distortions, modulation (flanger) pedals, then Delay, then Reverb if you're using a reverb pedal.  Assuming you're putting everything into the front of your amp and not using an effects loop.


Basically, Compressors work good near the beginning of the chain.  I always keep mine after the wah just because I like the wah pedal on the end..  Next: either Fuzz or Overdrives, distortions. Then whatever else you have and keep the delay last followed only by reverb if you're using reverb. If so, reverb last in line.


Everybody's gonna tell you to switch things around to find a combination that sounds best to you, but the above guidelines are the basic ground rules. -Seth
