Well I think another thing that needs to be addressed is the lack of room in the bottom plate to run a lead. In the past i actually drilled a hole on the sides of fuzzes, and went to radio shack and picked a battery to standard pedal plug converter and ran several tonebenders and fuzz faces out of my BBE supacharger which has isolated outputs. never had a noise problem. If you don't want to drill the original pedal, consider picking up any fuzz face, maybe a broken one, for cheap and use the bottom plate of that for your JB, then drill away.
