All of his CDs are really good. Except for "Live Alive". That one is kinda lame. He didn't do too much acoustic stuff, as far as I know. He did do some acoustic stuff on an episode of MTV's "Unplugged".
If you want to really get into SRV, I'd recommend getting his first CD "Texas Flood". Then, work your way through his CDs in chronological order.
The CD "The Sky Is Crying" is a really good compilation of (up to then) unreleased tracks, his brother put together.
