Topic: 11-52 tuned E flat or speaker trouble???
i'm hoping someone can help me with this as i've tried everything i can think of!
at high volumes for gigs i always have to compensate on my tone because my speakers sound like they are flapping and farting about inside the cab! i've always thought it was my speakers that were giving me the trouble but last nite i had the same trouble again threw a borrowed rig the same as mine, and then it got me thinking could it be the heavier strings plus the fact i'm tuned down to E flat, i've had the speakers checked by a good friend and can't find anything wrong with them....i know Joe uses EV's and they can take alot of stick at the bottom end but it'll be a costly upgrade which i cant afford or justify atm....HELP!!
this is what i use for home and gigging and it sounds brilliant at low volumes, i can get very close to Moore and Bonamassa tones!!
