Just registered to say hello.
The early show was my first time seeing Joe Bonamassa....amazing stuff, so glad that I went.
I spoke to a couple folks who I'm guessing are here. Based on the video, you were the folks to my right with one of the two cameras that I saw. I was over at the bar with my niece.
I reviewed the show on my blog last night when I got home...but, it's one of the more gushy reviews that I've written...But, heck...the only show I've seen in a while on the level with last night was Jeff Beck in Pomona...and he wasn't playing in a room the size of my living room. If anyone cares to read a review by a newbie...here's the blog.

Great to talk to you JT. Nice chat about the Delgado Brothers, I had forgot how much I've forgot and ignored about them! Your review is stellar and certainly sufficed to serve as the picture of you & your niece you approved but I did not disturb your family meeting with a flash in your faces in a dark room. I also neglected to ask ( or forgot, having difficulties paying attention with all the electricity in the thick air shorting out a bunch of my brain circuits, though drinking only water ) if you had a band yourself, as we mentioned being players too! There were 3 videographers not including Rick, (2 of whom had it together-I wasn't one, only looked the part!!!

Once Joe & Tal get their copies, I'll see if I can get one and make too! An interesting blog there, keep up the good stuff! I really like friendly people and it was indeed my pleasure to meet you at the Baked Potato to watch you, and quite! a few new faces checking the guys and Joe out for the first time. Glad and hope for more of the same as we witnessed last night!

I appreciate all the kind words. The blog started pretty small and now I feel guilty of I don't post a bit about every show that I attend. I guess it'll be nice reference when I get old and forgetful....(wait, I forgot...I'm already old...)...So, when I get forgetful...
I'm seeing Joe Delgado tonight and I highly recommend checking "Learn to Fly", there's a couple tracks you can stream on Amazon to get a sense of it. But, they really have improved their writing and brought in some awesome folks to contribute on it. (They even got the Chambers Brothers to sing on a track!)
My niece is actually the real musician in the family. She's quite a singer, broadway type stuff mostly wish a dash of Billie Holiday when she can work it in. (She headlines on a couple cruise lines and did some shows at Disney and Universal Studios). Sometime way back in high school I migrated to standing behind the sound and light board and ended up doing corporate AV for a living...so, I can't really play a lick, but have a huge passion for live music....one of those cosmic little jokes.
Great to meet you and hopefully this won't be my last Joe B show, so I'll have a chance to say hello again in the future.
I see you're in San Diego, I'm heading down there in October for the Big Head Blues Club at the Belly up. My wife loves Ruthie Foster who is part of that group.
