Killer gig
One must have seen it
What a JOYRIDE
Here's Bibi at Blues Sissi's place:
IMPRESSIVE!!! He played VERY long. Stopped at 0100.
Then I had to go searching for my jaw. Tomorrow I'll bring some duct tape!!!
What a guy, what a rollercoasterexperience!
What a great show and what did Ryan and band enjoy it!
Very impressive like Blues Sissi said, reminded me of the first time seeing Joe play in 2004. Absolutely BRILLIANT.
Playing from another planet and the singing much better then I expected. 10 out of 10 for me.
Regards and thanks from Ryan to Joe and the Joe forum and fans.
Joe knows his guitarplayers.
Today again at the Grolsch Blues festival. reviews will follow on www.bluesmagazine.nl and the German website www.rocktimes.de
Bluesmoose and Manni did a terrific job together arranging this first European date for Ryan.
Andre Wittebroek
(This is George - the system won't let me post under my own name, just an endless loop of spambot questions..grrr)
O M G !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like I told Ryan, "Í knew you were good, I was expecting to be impressed and very happy, but I really had no idea you're SO good!"
More than three hours of absolute kick-a** music, countless parallels with young(er) Joe and that first gobsmacking experience we all had. This boy is tremendous, what a thrill we all had. Videos to follow if I can get Andre's pc to recognize my Nokia
Again, those few of us present last night (40-50) witnessed something truly historic. I think I even went to sleep with a smile.
And what a sweet tone he got out of his LP!
A new star is born in my personal blues universe. Of course I have Ryan´s CD but you have to experience him live. He has a similarity to Joe in terms of guitar playing (especially when he plays his Gibson) and stage personality but he´s a star of his own.

Couldn't agree more, Günter!!

(Yes Rocket, we gave you a shout and Ryan remembered.)
Not only us -the Bonabuddies from the forum- liked him! When I asked ppl who was their favorite act, they often answered Ryan was! Had so much fun in Schoeppingen! Campsite: not that much sleep (understatement, haha) but woke up by the loud sound of my neighbours car-audio-system. But he was forgiven since it was Ryan's cd he bought the night before. He made my day by letting it roll twice!

We were in for a ride at Ryan's warm-up gig in Groesbeek and in Schöppingen as well.
Tomorrow I'll get my next dose.
And the day after tomorrow another one.
You can call me lucky.
And here are the vids from the Bluesmoose guys who organised the warm-up gig in Groesbeek. It starts with a compilation:

Since Bibi will not be going by motorcycle, I have eagerly accepted her kind offer to accompany her to Belgium on Saturday, so that we can see Ryan one more time!
