My certificate was not signed by Joe or anyone.

Was this only for the first 25?

Re: Bonamassa Gibson LP BonaBurst Registry serial # "JOE B XXX"

I think what Spider meant was that the certificates for the Epi LPs were signed by Joe. My COA didn't have Joe's sig on it either, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

No worries, thanks for the clarification.

The Gibson Bonamassa Goldtop Les Paul's Certificate of Authenticity (COA) are signed by Joe.

The COA's for the Gibson Bonabursts LP's were not signed by Joe.

The COA's for the Epiphone Bonamassa Goldtop LP's were signed by Joe

Joe's signature on the cases are silk screened.

What do you guys use to clean your 'bursts? I've used Naptha on my lacquered Strat and was wondering if it was safe for the nitro.

Wow, that's a pretty nice flamey top.

Mine is much more plain.

Interesting - did the earlier ones (first 25) have a more pronounced flame top?

Congratulations again!

Re: Bonamassa Gibson LP BonaBurst Registry serial # "JOE B XXX"

I think the flame was a random thing, not limited to a certain batch....I had my eyes on a plain topped one (which is my preference), but Troy at Wildwood said this was the best playing of what was on hand.   The flame has grown on me, and he was right, it is a hell of a guitar

That is indeed very nice. I trust Troy's advice. He's never steered me wrong. Ever!! Troy is a player too!!!
