Re: Bonamassa Gibson LP BonaBurst Registry serial # "JOE B XXX"

Have a great day.

Are they going to be plain tops? I assume yes, by the looks of the prototype.

Re: Bonamassa Gibson LP BonaBurst Registry serial # "JOE B XXX"

Registry is a cool idea.  But a registry with "screen names" is kinda useless.  I wish both of these Bonamassa LP registries could be corrected with real names and perhaps city/states.  At least that makes it possible to understand where these ended up for posterity, authenticate the real ones, and future movements due to sales (or God forbid, losses).  Just a thought.

Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Reissue, Gibson LP Standard Faded CSB, Gibson Gary Moore LP Standard, Epi Joe Bonamassa GT LP, Epi Zakk Wylde LP, Dean Michael Schenker Flying V, Jackson Randy Rhoads V, ESP/LTD George Lynch Kamikaze, EVH Striped Series R/B/W, Fender/Squire John 5 Telecaster, Fender Joe Strummer Relic Telecaster

This is a cool registry site. It gives location, but hides your real name.

Re: Bonamassa Gibson LP BonaBurst Registry serial # "JOE B XXX"

Hey everyone,

I was thinking of emailing Wildwood and see if they'd accept a trade of my 2009 Vos 58 reissue and my 2008 Traditional for one of the BonaBursts.  What do you guys think of that?  Good idea or am I nuts?

2009 Gibson Les Paul 1958 VOS (with black plastic)
2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop (with the cream plastic from the 58RI)
> Marshall Bluesbreaker 2 pedal >Boss sd-1> DD3 > Vox Ac15cc1

Re: Bonamassa Gibson LP BonaBurst Registry serial # "JOE B XXX"

Well I asked and they are not taking trades towards the BonaBursts...oh well missed out again.... hmm  hmm  hmm  hmm  sad  sad

2009 Gibson Les Paul 1958 VOS (with black plastic)
2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop (with the cream plastic from the 58RI)
> Marshall Bluesbreaker 2 pedal >Boss sd-1> DD3 > Vox Ac15cc1

Re: Bonamassa Gibson LP BonaBurst Registry serial # "JOE B XXX"

...Stan ( Joe B #12 )  is now safely in Essex after his around the World jaunt ( Rick can I ever thank you enough )
...he looks and smells beautiful but feels totally different to my Classic, i expected that but not to the degree it does... the supplied strings are lifeless and a new set will be a revelation i am sure though need to get the action down as my Classic is set low so they buzz which obviously suits my style, or lack of it, of playing...  roll   wink

..get a few pic`s up soon!
