Topic: Greeting's Everyone, Brand Spankin new member!
Hi Everyone just call me stratdaddy and I'm sure thats not going to be a hard one for any of you to figure out. I'm an over the hill, grey haired retired (forced in to retirement due to injuries aquired in 1971 in the beautiful resort country of South Vietnam) I'm not cryin about, I still have use of both hands and a STABLE full of Strats I have been collecting since High School, I'm now 54 yrs old. I have never belonged to a message board as long as I have had a computer and like the questions that are asked on this one so here I am. I live in Portland, Oregon and have seen JB a total of 10 times all over the western states, I have alot of his music and own a guitar or two that he used to own. I do have a question for anybody, does Joe read these much, I know he's plently busy and also I have a question to ask him about a guitar that I recently bought from a guitar shop in New York that he visits and does biz with sometimes and I need to get a little history on this guitar for my own records. Also if any of you ever get a chance ask Joe what Walter Trout thinks about his finger swells, roll-offs whatever you call them. I hope you here the story I heard him tell in a little neighborhood record shop in Portland. Anyway, I've gone on way too long and I'm real excited about being able to a chat with everyone so if I can be of any help (I usually have a strat or two for sale and always some kinda parts) just let me know, Like I said I've had strats since I was a kid and know a little bit about them Vintage or New, so if I can be of any help just let me know...Would some put a fire under JB's butt and get him back to the Northwest. Joe have you ever thought of playing the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival? It's huge and you need to be there. Later
