Good eye, yes it is an artist 111, it also is chambered and plays even better than it looks!

Is that an Artist III? I have an incredibly similar one - quilt top amber but with the colour wrap i.e no fake edge binding and mine is chambered too :-) Incredible quality guitar.

Take it for what it is, but I talked to Steve Mesple, the owner of Wildwood Guitars here in Colorado. The UNRelic'ed JB's were made for Wildwood exclusively, and when I bought mine, he said that there were 50, and thats it. NO MORE of the unrelic'ed ones. I saw the one on MF, and have to ask them how they got one to sell as new. When I find out, I'll post the answer....

Broke down and bought an Alpine White LPC, the very first guitar I owned was an Ibanez clone of this guitar in 1977.  I also got a PRS Santana I in mint condition at a GC close out sale, I'm broke, but happy.  The JB LP may come in the future. Dave
