EBMM is run by musicians, for musicians. They use the input of ppl like Steve Morse, Tony Levin, Dave LaRue, these are top virtuoso players.
Gibson is run by men wearing suits, and they make guitars for the masses so they can increase numbers.
Now I am certain EBMM cares about numbers as well, otherwise it would be a bad business model, but they operate on quality first principles. Heck, even their korean line of guitars (Sterling) outperform most epiphones and a lot of fender guitars.
Huge fan of what Sterling Ball is doing and one day I hope to own either a Steve Morse Y2D or a Albert Lee HH.
