Being from Philadelphia, the natural reaction is...I can't believe we got here on a shoot-out with the Rangers.... I tuned into the business news channel to check the market yesterday and what were they talking about??? The increased viewing of the playoffs (up 54%) and the rise in purchases of merchandise for the Stanley Cup playoff teams. So, our good old cities have lots of dedicated fans, old and new that are stimulating the economy. Since your drought is way longer than ours, there will be no hard feelings Bill if you guys win, but in case you haven't noticed, the Flyers aren't going down without a fight. Also, I'm blaming that lost on my daughter, she got the Blackhawks theme song stuck in her head and kept singing it, it is very catchy!! I thought the flyers took the goalie out too soon, but my son says no...Check out this this site, interesting marketing...I just bought these fly t-shirts for my family that moved to Florida. http://philavania.com/ And a Chicago sidenote...have you ever been to the Drake hotel? If so is it worth a visit, I keep noticing it in your skyline? I love old architecture etc. Philly also had an old Drake.

So glad to see that team return last night and take this series by the throat, with one of the most one sided first periods you'll ever see! If they bring that game with them to Philly, it'll be Good night Flyers!
Go Hawks!!!!
