I myself just bought a PRS and love it to death.
I think you shouldn't trust our recommendations on an amp. They are all so different, but there is ONE out there for you.
I currently own:
Rivera R55-12(best of both marshall and fender worlds)
Fender (I own a blues jr, and am having it Bill M modded)
Here is a list of ones I'ved liked or previously owned: (in order of how much I liked them)
Sovtek Mig 50 (friend owned, like a twin reverb on roids)
Metro Amps JTM45 (friend owned - JTM45 spot on!)
Budda (never owned any, but played them love the balls!)
Peavey Classic Tweed (owned and sold - found better)
Mesa Boogie Studio 12 tube combo (friends own, never justified cost)
Marshalls JCM 800 (great dirt, one channel though)
Fender HRD - (too bright clean)
Line6 Flextone II (friend owned, these 'can' fool you, but not quite "there")
VOX Valvetronix (just ok in my opinion)
Mesa Booge triple rectifier (triple rectum-hinder - too heavy)
Peavey 5150 (owned and sold - too heavy)
Soldano (good dirt, too expensive for one channel)
So in order of how much I liked them, that has been my experience. Amps I've never played I didn't list. Another thing I'm finding is that speakers make a bigger difference than I thought.
