That 3 putt from three feet was a killer for TW.  That quote from Phil about his second shot on 13 will be etched on his tombstone because that epitomizes the way he plays the game.  He is a modern day Arnold Palmer.

Congrats to Phil.  I totally forgot that both of Phil's favorite ladies are battling breast cancer, I wish them well.  I'd like to see Phil bump Tiger from the #1 world spot of best golfer. 

No doubt, Tiger has been good for the game of golf and more recently, Tiger has been great for the comedy circuit.  Someone sent me this link.

I got luckier watching the final round than you, Angela.  I made the mistake of agreeing to go to my wife's cousin's house in the country to hunt for morels.  I was going to cut out early, but forgot they have a nice plasma TV.  To make a long story short, the beer was cold, the applewood smoked ribs were over-cooked, but delicious, and my favorite golfer won.  I believe I had to wipe a tear off my cheek after his long embrace with his wife.  I have Masters pin flags from '04 and '06 signed and framed by Lefty in my TV room and today my 2010 flag arrived.  Life is still good.

Hi Rick.  We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary; LIFE IS GOOD!!!  Besides my husband knows better, I'm Lorena Bobbitt in disguise.             

On a serious note, very good coverage on the Masters in the current Sports Illustrated. (April 19th) However, the last page goes back to the humor of it all with some quotes from one of Tiger's porn stars...she says at least she is honest about faking it. It is very interesting how the ending with Phil and his wife had such an emotional impact and in a way, put additional salt on Tiger's wounds.  Life works in mysterious ways... 

On Tuesday I was having a conversation with a friend in my car about the Masters and the strange coincidence of both ladies having breast cancer and they are not even biologically related.  My friend's prediction...drinking water from plastic bottles will be deemed hazardous in the future... I got to my destination 10 minutes later and my phone rings and its a friend of mine asking me to pray for her, she was just diagnosed with breast cancer.  Her prognosis seems very good, she gets yearly mammograms and the lump is small...but it was so strange that we were just talking about the rise in breast cancer.

Hey Rick, speaking of Phil's SD roots, do you recall who he played with on his high school team down there?

Both breast and prostate cancers have high cure rates with early deetection and treatment.  Younger patients though, like Amy, are at a higher risk due to higher hormone levels.
