Re: Conspicuous by my absence

I am hyper-sensitive. It's as if (at times) my nerves have no insulation on them. I sit up in bed when the dogs start moving around the house. I have ruined TV watching for my family...not that we are that heavy into it. I watched the Jets/Colts game yesterday and had to be put down at the end of it...up too long.
It's been decades since I had any sort of real anxiety/fear about anything. I get it NOW. It rolls up on me in waves. Then it recedes. Understandable I guess.
A special thanks to anybody who kept MsTia in their thoughts and prayers. Both she and TB demonstrated incredible bravery through all this. I am BLESSED. My faith is powerful.

BigJeffHey Doc, the nerve thing is strange. I'm still dealin' with it and my surgery was 2 years ago Oct. 3rd. I basically still have partial numbness on the left side of my head, neck, and shoulder and get different sensations as time goes by, my Doc says it will never be the same, but there is more feeling than right after it happened. The up side is my left rotator doesn't ache as bad as it used to. Hang in Big Guy and follow doctors orders, I know that's a tall order FLOL!

I wouldn't worry about Jefe following Doc's Directions, he's got a hell of a Yakon (Mohawk for woman) squarely ready to butt heads and turn titanium into silly putty if necessary. That woman is something! I LIKE her! MsTia, I bow in deference to no man, but to you I humbly bow in thanks and praise of your servitude which is not at all disguised as leadership. Strangely, imperfect people can make perfect matches for each other. So, Jeff, take a chill pill, you've settled down a while back with she & they, so settle your nerves now-I found a lot of it IS in our head, in your case literally WAS in your head! Hang' In on a LOVE Noose now...
Complement (no "I" in complement) ON & LIVE THE FAITH,

The nerve thing I easily relate to guys, as I have had six surgeries in my groin area, and although I haven't had any for over fourteen years, I STILL have nerve problems. Over the many years I had had myriad variations of searing and stabbing pain, to areas of my legs where I have NO nerve responses. I still actually have to fall to the floor on my knees in pain every now and then, although it would be better described as perhaps twice in a blue moon nowadays. There is at least one a day reminder whether dull aching or little flare ups, including back problems (I went temporary quadriplegic for hours after one surgery-it's a trip to see doctor's sweat in worry and concern). My nerves are actually more sensitive earthquake detectors now, and with daily tremors here it is nettlesome sometimes.
Rock ON & Keep the Faith,
Rocket
