***WARNING...Non-Haiku formatted information to follow. I tried but not clever enough...avert eyes if necessary***
Most digital cameras store the pictures on a small card (SD or xD) that can be removed from the camera and downloaded directly to the computer. Many newer computers come with card readers, but if your's doesn't, you can buy a universal card reader for about $15 that plugs in USB to your computer, and will read just like a floppy drive.
Using the cable will drain the camera battery very quickly. Your Zoom recorder also stores on an SD card that can be removed and read from the card reader. This is a lot easier than messing with the camera cable.
