And about Double Trouble, it was the highlight of the concert for me, I can still remember how I felt...totally tingled from head down to my toes...just mesmerizing, a fab performance with so much emotion. I've been meaning to look into what nights different songs were chosen from for the recordings, I'm not sure if its stated. I was at the Tuesday night performance (2nd show) at MSG.
I've just recently gotten into them in the last couple of years, but didn't add any to my collection until recently because I was waiting for the remasters I kept hearing about. They sound very clear and well-done. Some of this stuff you can't believe was recorded in the 1960s. Very cool.
And most recorded on 3 tracks, Abbey Road (listen to Here Comes the Sun to grasp this) was recorded on only 8 tracks-that's as far as they went. Very Cool indeed. Great singing, great playing, great engineering, great production, GREAT STUFF!
