Ian- your statement is really funny!! My family is all stuck in the house with a snow storm (which is wonderful), my sons are home from college, I'm baking Christmas cookies and we were talking about bad boys in sports and then about the prime minister and his recent attack by a thrown statuette and my hubby was telling about the prime minister's statement to prove his masculinity/ego about not paying for it...so defensive macho...I will never forget my one trip to Italy on our honeymoon to the LaScala Opera and all the older men with younger women on their arms, just like the scene from the movie Moonstruck. Not that I'm sterotyping about Italian men being cheaters, I'm happily married to one. My favorite line from Moonstruck, "Why do men cheat?"
A quote from the PM.
"Never in my life, not even once, have I had to pay for a sexual encounter," Berlusconi said. "And I'll tell you why: for someone who loves to conquer, the greatest joy is the conquest, so I ask, 'if you pay, what joy can there be?'"
This philosophy helped to explain "why Italians like me and I have 68.4 percent of approval and admiration," said Berlusconi, who has been elected three times and is now the longest-serving leader in Italian post-war history.
When Berlusconi apologized to Zapatero for his lengthy answer, the Spanish leader said there was no need and it was "very interesting."

Back to Tiger, its complicated being that popular and living your life in a fishbowl. I hope the kids end up OK and they all eventually find happiness.
