Topic: Carre, Amsterdam, Nov. 26
I'm surprised that no one else has started a review topic yet, so I guess I'll have to put my hand up first, even though I'm far too tired now to write anything lengthy or meaningful. (I'll expand over the weekend.) Nor do I have access to whatever Michael had in order to produce his recent hysterical effort.
The day and evening was characterized by wind and rain, and by the many meetings of Bonabuddies from all over. Cathy and I met up with Marianne, Annelies, Michael, Geko, Andre, Eva, Rudy and many more - and finally met Suzanne (and husband) in the flesh.
Joe played his standard set - I particularly enjoyed BOJH and Bridge; Sloe Gin brought a tear to my eyes; Cathy, Michael and I put on dark glasses for Just Got Paid.
The show was of the expected high standard, though we had the impression that the boys might be a little low on energy, which turned out to be the case when we had the opportunity to exchange words after the show. Hardly surprising with such a killer traveling schedule.
