And here's my pumpkin from last year! It was a bit better but again...oh well!
haha I did SRV this year.
Quick reply to Bill before this fades away until next year...the witch and the haunted house were from a kit..just copy them, stick on pumpkin with push pins..the use the pokey thing in the kit to puncture the design outline, then cut. The Joe was copied and punched too, but I didn't cut all the wat through...We'll do this again earlier..... Cathy

Hey people, it's that time again!
Show us your gourds!
First time in years that I didnt carve any pumpkins.....as soon as it got a little dark, the door bell starts ringing, 8 little tikes from the neighborhood.......then I wait ...and wait...and wait....NO ONE!!!.....5 minutes of handing out treats and the kids quit coming ....I had my hat with the hair on it, got called everything from Rod Stewart, to the white Don King ...next year cant come soon enough for this big kid
BOO!!!!!
I watched all the kids who used to trick or treat in my 'hood bring their kids to my front door with this glazed look in their eyes...
time waits for no man

Tis that time again! This year I'm throwing down the gauntlet for Joe Pumpkins. I know there are some talented people out there, so grab a gourd and have at it!! Thanks, the forum Hag Cathy
I will post pics of my Bonadaughter's production this year. She just went out to the farm for this years supply of raw materials. Cathy has seen last year's product so I will enter her in the Pro division. Stand by to be amazed friends. She takes pumpkin carving to a whole different galactic quadrant. I'll request a JB themed one. (she's got 3 Joeshows under her belt.)

Vik sent us a mail with some absolutely STUNNING pumpkin art. I hope she'll post them here too, otherwise I'll try to.
Wow Jane. Those incredibly carved ones are unreal. He must use some kind of hybrid pumpkin to achieve that depth of meat without hitting seeds. Quite an artist who has taken the Jack-O-Lantern to another place.

Here's a link to a Socal Joefan's party and decorations. I really like the corpse in the giant spider's web.
