Topic: Jim Weider's ProJECT PERCoLAToR
Jim Weider's name came up in the Danny Gatton RIP thread, and rather than highjack that one, I thought I'd start a new one. Jim deserves his own thread anyway!
Yes, Jim Weider is one to check out for sure. Most people don't know his name, but he was with The Band for 15 years, replacing Robbie Robertson. His current band is ProJECT PERCoLAToR and I pimp them out wherever I can. They put out a new CD a few months ago called Pulse... lots of great songs on there. Here's a link to his website, where you can read more about him and who all he's played with, and you can purchase Pulse:

Here are 2 links to some excellent recordings my taper friend made earlier this year, both soundboard/Schoeps matrixes. At Jim's request, he didn't upload these til after the new CD was released because a lot of the new songs were played. I was at the 2nd show, so I can say firsthand that Jim and his band are awesome!

At those links, you can either download or just listen online. And if anybody so desires, I can dig up some of his older Jim Weider recordings too. They are all of the same high quality... he's a top-notch taper.
