Re: Sell me on the Jub
Review.... I used the jub at practice this weekend and overall I was quite pleased. No it didn't have the low end I am used to with the 2203, but that was never an expectation anyways. I hooked it to an ok 4x12 owned by my bass player...gt1275s and ran it at 16 ohms. More than enough gain on tap (and I'm a metal guy)...no pedals, just straight in. Really straight forward simple amp. I think I am gonna replace the 2204 in the big system with the jub, should sound massive when in with the 2203/ fender twin. Not sold on the jj pre amp tubes though... need to play around a bit more. Nice to have a grab and go rig to jam with...still a heavy little sucker though.
