Topic: MLB 2009
This is a great year for Baseball in many ways. For me it feels good to sit down in front of the T.V. on a hot summer day and watch a good game of Baseball. It is so much still the American Pastime over football (at least in my eyes).
My team is the Cardinals. They are out ahead in the Central now and even though Carpenter is out again I have hope of a good year. I hope I can make the Cards/ Rockies series in Denver this year... those are the only Cardinal games I ever get to go to
I'm excited for this year, but I feel like even though it is still superior to Football in many ways (although I still love football) the MLB is losing a fan base. With Yankee Stadium gone and the whole steroid thing I think people have lost hope in the game's honest values. I hope that's not true for any of you. Be proud to wear those Baseball jerseys... whichever team you root for... unless it's the Cubs

Anyway... I hope you all have a great Baseball-filled year.
