Topic: John Henry goes commercial...
I wonder if Joe has tried this:

I just got into the OC yesterday evening and stopped at High Times in Costa Mesa to pick up some brews to take to a friends house, as he was grilling up some steaks. I did one serious double take on this one!
Of course I had to grab some!
Tasting notes:
The color is very dark - it pours with a creamy head reminiscent of a Guinness stout.
The nose is of roasted malt, with coffee and cocoa. Something else in there too, fruity and nutty. Nice!
Palate: The closest thing I can compare it to would be a porter. Creamy, thick. Again, roasted barley with dark chocolate and strong coffee notes. The 9.1% abv puts this almost into the barley wine range.
I'll have to go back for more. And this time have BOJH playing!
