Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed
I noticed no bling with the new BCC
No T shirt,pic tin,magnet coaster,poster,necklace,clock,sandles,frisbee,shot glasses,ice cube tray,hoodie,coffee mug,front door welcome mat,I phone case,breakfast cereal,ect
Seems like a conspiracy theory !!

Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed
I would have loved if the disc came with a bonus DVD of the behind the scenes videos...

Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed
I know this is silly - and I couldn't find the thread where we talked about it before - what kind of bird is the BCC bird
With the track The Crow I guess its no longer a mystery to me
On the new album it looks like a Phoenix, although it is more crow-like on previous albums.
Who knows?

I guess you didn’t take notes on my lecture. I described the differences of ravens and crows.
This isn’t the lecture, I couldn’t find that post for some odd reason. Hafta dig some more... https://forum.jbonamassa.com/viewtopic.php?id=16688
I agree it does look like a phoenix in BCC IV, which possibly could be considered somewhat appropriate, whether deliberate or coincidental.

Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed
At risk of changing direction of this thread.
Probably the thread was deleted, when the band imploded on itself.
I do not see anything has changed in thier respective schedules, so I'm am guarded on the new album.
Obviously a Pheonix rising up from the ashes.
I think perhaps maybe a thread may have been deleted,
I'm getting some of my assurance from Glenn's comment in the liner notes that the crow watches over the band.
After thought:
Don't crows pick over dead carcasses?
(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)
Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed
well I thought I had originally seen that the cd from mascot also had the extra track like the vinyl but apparently was wrong about that
wish i could hear it!!!!also, anyone know when he Classic Rock October issue usually would show up in the states?
went out of way to Barnes and Noble today...PITA...and they still had September
"With you I go" is a strong track and would have ended the CD fittingly. Wouldn't have been out of place on "Afterglow". There is a ripping solo from Joe.
Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed
The optimum recording time on a side of vinyl is around 22 mins. More than that and the grooves are too narrow to carry the sound well enough.
That is why modern CDs are all around 60 mins with the vinyl versions around 40 mins with the occasional bonus track added to fill the CD.
Less is more, some artists appear pressured to fill a CD when less tracks of quality might be better.
Blame the record labels!
