Topic: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed

I don't know if any one on here follows both Joe and Glenn on Twitter but many are thinking we might be heading towards a reunion. Glen posted a picture of he and Joe on stage with the subtitle #unitedfront. Joe then posted a picture of the band with the following text "Maybe it's time to break out the heavy bats again. .. Congrats to GH on his RRHOF induction."

Could just be wishful thinking from many but they seem to be patching up whatever ailed them over the last couple of months.

If they do anything it would be hard to see how it would fit in with Joes touring schedule so maybe just an album.

Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed

Now glen has reposted almost the same thing Joe said and tagged the whole band. Maybe something really is in the works.

Wishful thinking maybe, but I'm on board with that.  It would be cool to see, they had great chemistry.

Great news. I will travel far for a gig

Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed

OK so i can't not comment. I won't get my hopes up. ok my hopes are totally up but i won't hold anyone to it.
i was actually trying to come up with what i want to say i n the other thread about the Kevin Shirley interview. I do have some comments and want to put them together appropriately but the other night i was watching the BCC LOE dvd and all i could think of is - heck who cares what Kevin says or does, he was the reason we have this great music from BCC. i mean sure many folks involved but it couldn't have come together like it did and just for the live version of Song of Yesterday, its stellar on that dvd just a fine piece of rock and roll, it just really is that flipping awesome to me, does any of the rest of it matter? really/ i mean i don't have anything bad to say just some of my personal feelings about interviews and such.
anyway then i decided not to say that because I know that BCC was not the most ideal to say the least for Joe and i am sure i only know the least.
I am shocked and amazed to hear this news, to see the tweets. wow completely unexpected but not for my lack of praying..........
anyway my hopes are up but mostly that it works for Joe. I mean i almost don't like to listen to Afterglow even though its great stuff but not where Joe's heart was by any means from what he was saying at the time and OMG i don't want to jinx it moving forward saying that OMG what have i just done I must go spin the discs loud and do a dance with a ritual OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

Re: Black Country Communion Reunion Confirmed

Joe recording a new album with Beth in August and his next solo record will be within 2 years so this is doable. A lot of lessons have been learnt.
