Topic: Joanne Shaw Taylor...
Caught Joanne's show on a five band card last Saturday in of all places Rothschild, Wisconsin. Today, I'm still flabbergasted over what I witnessed. Never, since seeing Rory Gallagher live, have I witnessed anyone have such an attacking style of guitar playing. Sure, I heard before hand that was how Joanne played and I own both of her CDs, but still I was not prepared. All I can say is, if Joanne Shaw Taylor on lead guitar and vocals, Paul Lamb on bass guitar and backing vocals and Layla Hall on drums and backing vocals are appearing anywhere near you, make sure you don't miss it!
Hopefully the pictures and video that follow will explain things much better than I can verbally...
