Topic: Les Paul 60's neck
Hey Everyone....
I have been in a bit of a pickle here...I have a Gold Top Traditional and she sounds so sweet. But I am having trouble with my left hand. No matter how many times I play a week, after an hour or so of playing it, my hand cramps up (smaller hands). I end up playing my Strat for the rest of the time. Now I don't mind playing the Strat. As a matter of fact, we are working out our set list so that I use the Strat for about half the songs. But there are nights I just don't feel like either playing the Strat or carrying it to rehearsals.
Having said all of that, I wanted to know from those who have experience or has tried the 1960 re-issue with the 60's slim neck, what you thought of the neck.
Would the thinner neck be more suitable for my smaller hands and help with the cramping?
I don't have a cramping issue when I play the Strat all night....but I LOVE Les Pauls....and I'd rather play the LP.
Thanks,
Barry
