Topic: The Embassy Fort Wayne Indiana 3-5-2009

...I was lucky enough to get into the "meet and greet" pre-show and met Joe again with thanX from Doc West and ROCK 104, Joe gave all of us plenty of time each and I finally got my picture with him...the show tonight was awesome...needless to say and I'm just quickly gonna run down the set-list as I remember??......it is way late and perhaps I've had a drink or two----->sometimes a name says it all??

Great pre show party Mike!!!  Everything from the bar staff to the great local band to the two stretch limos gave this Joe experience an extra VIP touch!!

As far as the show goes,  Joe was in true form, I loved hearing the new TBOJH songs and If Heartaches Were Nickles.

The sound was not up to par from other shows I have been to.  Not sure if it was the size of the venue, my seat location (row 10 left of center stage) or what but it sounded like I was listening to the show from another room.  It did get better as the show went on so there must of been some tweeking from the sound tech.  I almost felt sorry for the opening band.  You could barely hear them.

All in all, a great show and great time.  Got to get me pic with Joe, Rick and Carmine!!  Plus get my guitar player mag autographed!!

Hello,

I am a new member.  I was at the show last night.  It was my first Bonamassa concert.  It was great!!  Joe has great stage presence!  I am a guitar player and it was great to see how talented Joe is at his craft!  How did you guys get a meet and greet?  I would have loved to meet Joe and the band.  Maybe next time.  Anyway, it was a fantastic experience and I am glad to be on the board!

Adamym...First things first, welcome to the forum!
I was not at the show last night, but typically if you hang out for a while after the show, Joe is gracious enough to come out and sign autographs for the fans.

Hi, This is my first time on this forum. Congrats on the meet and greet. I went to the concert as well and Joe is really great. I was about 14 rows back on the left side of the stage and the sound was not dialed in until later in the show. I've seen Joe several times and he never fails to satisfy. He has always been great to fans as far as signing and photos. I play guitar myself and I can really appreciate the fretboard acrobatics. He is the real deal. Ive been around a long time and have met many of the great guitar players and this guy is something special.
