If indeed only discussing current, hard to mention anybody other than JB or EJ (neither of whom, or even YJM for that matter was invited to the Strat anniversary concert, the organizers preferring the likes of Brian May, Ronnie Wood Joe Walsh and of course that Strat wizard Jamie Cullum LMBFAO)
Ever, is really tough for me because I loved the sound of Rory's beat up strat sooo much and of course SRV's powerful hands on his Strat, but how can anyone come above James Marshall???

It's hard to single out just a few, but Joe is/was responsible for converting me from a Gibson guy to a Fender guy. He did such a great job exploring all the different personalities of a strat. Then of course after he turned me into a strat-head he migrated to Gibson...but the dynamics behind that move are understood and covered under different threads.
