Topic: Newbie (thanks Joe)

Hi all,
Got to see Joe last year in Flagstaff, Az and was very thankful for the time he gave up afterwards for my barrage of questions (most of which were leading and incorrect,  and I thought I knew a thing or two about gear roll).  At least I know where he got the "blackbacked goldtop" from now lol He (and EJ)kinda headed me down the multi-amp road, which was a good direction for my tone.  Currently running 3 half stacks (' 81 JCM800 2203, '87 JCM800 2204, and a '77 Twin for cleans and definition) with a framptone switcher and too many keeley pedals to list.  Lots more to do on my system but the pieces are in place now.

Coming from a metalshred background and just (really)getting into blues now.  Taking a blues combo class at the college.  Put down my charvel/jacksons for awhile and picking up my "old" Les Pauls again (a '76,'79(customs), and '82(silverburst),  Hey, I love the maple necks) which has been fun.

This seems like a great site and I look forward to valuable input that it/ you guys supply.  Like it or not, here I am wink

Where the hell does one get a black-backed gold top anyway?
