Topic: New Jam...

This is a jam with me and my friend. It is very rough... only about the third time we played it, but I think it turned out well. He came up with the riff and played it for rhythm guitar. I play the second guitar and all of the lead. Any feedback would be great smile

He usually plays metal and hard rock, but we tried to infuse styles together and this is what came out. I think it sounds cool.

Sounds nice, but there are two more rules to follow:

1. Tune up all instruments carefully!
2. The lead guitar should be louder than the rythm guitar - and not inverted!

Anyway that was enough critical stuff, your soloing is great, so try one time more wink !

It's good but, and I mean this as constructive criticism, the tempo wanders a bit and you might try and listen to what each other is doing a bit more. I get the feeling that you've got a lot more to offer than what you've done on this. Keep at it, it's good and it's going to get better.

Thanks guys! Really, I appreciate constructive criticism and I'm glad you both commented. I did make the mistake of not stretching the strings after I restrung the guitar a few minutes before that. Sorry about the tempo... drums were added later so I think we'll do it differently next time.
