Topic: Plane crash outside Buffalo - say a prayer

I just got off the phone with my Ex.  She has relatives living on the same street where the plane went down.
If the news has the street number OK, then her relatives are likely OK.  News reports saying 48 on the plane and one fatality on the ground.

I just heard 49 on board perished with one person on the ground. Reports are saying the plane literally fell out of the sky.

Just heard on the news that one of the passengers was a widow of a 9-11 victim enroute to Buffalo to celebrate what would have been her husbands 58th birthday. sad

I heard back from the Ex, her Aunt & Uncle were evacuated but they are OK.  Being from Buffalo, I might know someone who was on that flight but names won't likely be released until all the affected familes have been contacted.

I was thinking about the fragility of life earlier and then caught the President's comments which were eeerily on the same wavelength as my thoughts.

If you have it, maybe play Walter Trout's "Livin' Every Day" as a tribute.

Publicist: 2 Mangione musicians die in plane crash
The Associated Press

A publicist says two members of jazz musician Chuck Mangione's band were among those killed on the plane that crashed into a Buffalo, New York, house.

Publicist Sanford Brokaw identifies the band members as Gerry Niewood and Coleman Mellett.

In a statement Mangione, said: "I'm in shock over the horrible, heartbreaking tragedy."
