Topic: Got To Hold the New Jeff Beck Les Paul!!

I went to my local guitar shop and they have 1 of the 50 Jeff Beck Les Pauls on hand! I got to hold it! It was number 45. Got some pics also. What an incredible feeling that was. Holding a guitar a legend held onto and played. Now if I only had $25,000 bucks to buy it, that would be wonderful!

On top of that, he let me play a 66 Strat. He wanted $20,000 clams for that one. Damn! This is the same guitar shop that sold Jonh Mayer his Fender SRV Strat. This guy gets some amazing stuff in often. I seen the Jimmy Page LP last year that he had. I believe the run on that guitar was only 25.

He didn't let you play the Jeff Beck guitar?  I'd have dropped it for sure had it been left in my hands.

Oh! Im sorry! LOL! Its called Huber and Breese Music. Your going to love that place! Make sure you spend some time checking out all the guitars hanging up on the wall behind the counter. There are many nice rare guitars he gets from NAMM. Ask him about the 66 Strat or he said he still has the Jimmy Page LP. Not sure if he will pull that one out unless your interested in buying it. Hes got a Doubleneck PRS Dragon hanging up. Its out of this world!

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Re: Got To Hold the New Jeff Beck Les Paul!!

Wow..that's a lot of money especially since Jeff is a Big Fender Stratocater slinger ( since the 1970's  -see the "Wired" album cover, which I have a singed copy from him...: )
.
I think it would be different if he still played a Gibson as his main guitar! But 25K is a lot of money.....I guess if you have it to spend then that's another reason to buy one!
.
You're lucky though in holding one without giving up a kidney as a downpayment!
