I can't hear you (talking)!!
Whhooooaaaaaaa!! Thats a very "cute" set!
Wish I had the money - and the room - for a setup like Joe's / Your's...
I got only 2 little combos... ok, I'm only student, so I'll wait for a few years :D:D
Sounds incredible man! That is no doubt an enviable arsenal of gear. You pretty much nail the JB thing with the Two-Rock and Fuchs but the Top Hat kind of has it's own thing going on. I have a similar (but admittedly not as cool/complex/enviable) setup that is just a marshall + D style clone and I use a couple OD pedals to boost the output and change the character a bit so I don't have to lug 4 amps and 2 cabs around. My OCD gets me in plexi brighter aggresive town and my ts808 is more polite with my tube driver being the most polite of them all. Very cool rig that sounds amazing dude, you should pat yourself on the back! A few questions, do you gig with that monstrosity or do you have a small rig gig too? And also I know you were inquiring a short while ago how to record your rig to show us and I would like to do the same. Everything turned out good and I would like to post a video of my rig but I have no idea where to start. Perhaps we should make a sticky of all the fans' rig demos!
Wish I had the dough for that, I can't even afford just one of your four amps... Awesome sound, good job dude!
Yeah you sound exactly like JB. That's crazy!
That sounds awesome! I hope you´re playing in a band and don´t hide all these treasures in your music room!

Very impressive...
thats great!!!,
It does sound exactly like the " Monster" . I like what the mesa is doing.. very much like the jubilee..
congrats on making it quieter than mine.. I always get a 60 cycle hum or 50 if its europe...
Nice playing too btw..

AWESOME DUDE!!!
great sounding rig, you really got Joes style of playing down to a T.
I personally like the mesa and 2 rock combination.
excellent Softmc

If Joe says you nailed it...then you nailed it!
Great job on the recording, playing and rig. It must make Joe feel good that he's obviously having a big influence on a whole new generation of talented young (and not so young )guitar players.
WOW!! Thanks for the great response and comments guys. I'm glad you enjoyed it and the fact that Joe responded and liked it totally made my day. Thanks man!
For gigs, if its outside I take the whole thing b/c its insanly loud so the sound disperses. I've never played a theater like Joe does, but if I did, I would bring them. For bar gigs, if its small I'll take one amp, genereally the Mesa, but if its a little bit of a bigger joint I'll take 2 b/c it does take up a lot of space and I don't think the bar owner wants half his floor taken up lol. I always take my shields and iso pads. I made a small shield for the one amp set up as well. I think that the sticky is a great idea too. How and who sets that up?
One more thing is I'm glad I have awesome family, friends, and neighbors that can tolerate a rock concert everyday for a few hours.
Thanks again,
Ben
Wow, thats really cool sounding. Congrats bro! I can imagine the effort to make it work right...
Also very well played. Beside the technical aspect you have it in the fingers too.:)
Enjoy your setup.

Ben,
How did you connect two pieces of plexi shield together?

Plexi is an acrylic. The only thing is the glue doesn't come with a brush, so we used a brush you'd find in like a watercolor kit and it worked perfect. I have to give credit to my dad though, I found the parts and told him what I wanted to do and he built them, I just helped him.

Thanks for the link, I didn't even think of an acrylic hinge. I found this place for the plexiglass shields, so for about $40 you can put together a nice little sheild.

12"x24" is pretty small though - enough for a single cab if thats all you need as 1/4" plexi is expensive - I got lucky as my dad is a carpenter and save pieces that are leftovers so I had a few sheets laying around. I had to custom size mine for my set up. I believe we made them about 36" x 20" or so. The hinges come in 4' lengths so the cutoff from one of them made the single cab sheild.
An acrylic hinge is a great idea. I wish I'd have thought of that years ago when I was still lugging around big marshall4x12 cabs. I used piano hinge and just cut it to the right length for each panel but it involved drilling lots of holes for each side of the hinge and then lots of nuts and bolts. A real time consuming pain in the a.... and if one hole was slightly off it meant re-drilling etc...
By the way, very nice playing and a great setup.

It would be for a single 12 combo, so 2 of them hinged together would be sufficient.
$40 for the whole deal is very cheap considering they start at $200 here:

These prices are for the entire enclosure, but I don't see where you could just buy the plexi sheild by itself...
