Hi there - I'm new on this board, although I've enjoyed Joe's music and guitar playing for quite a few years now. I'm particularly interested in the gear topics, so I might pop in there fairly regulary.

Great, good to hear that! He's the most incredible player I've heard in a long time.
Should average amateur players like me be that concerned about gear at all? I don't see anything wrong with that. "If I play crap, at least the tone is good", I always say.
