Topic: Walter Robinson

Ok most of you know when I pull out a recommendation it's pretty good stuff. Well here's my latest find. Walter Robinson. Thanks to a certain forum friend I was able to do my first I Tunes visit and purchase. And boy what a find!  Here's some info.
" If Jimi Hendrix was still with us this is what he would be recording today.  Raw, earthy and sweet all at the same time.  This album could easly be a lost Hendrix session...  Listen and remember."

and this " Walter Robinson fashion an approach to Power blues after the great musicians of today and yesterday. Walter Robinson, the front man of the group, has a natural tendency to interpret music with the rhythm and blues feeling that lends the same soul to his singing, rhythm and lead guitar playing, that was the life bloody of Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and many other greats."

and of course some 30 second clips which sealed the deal for me. https://cdbaby.com/cd/walterrobinson

ENJOY!  I know I am.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Re: Walter Robinson

Jeff - Was half asleep the other night when I came aross your post about Walter Robinson.  I promptly bought one song off his album, "Raining In Chicago", and forgot about it until today.  When it came on I thought who the heck is this and then remembered.  I love hearing about and listening to new artists so keep 'em coming, Jeff!  Thanks for the heads-up.
