Topic: New Gigliotti - Look who's home

Hi all,

today arrived my longawaited Gigliotti GS. I'm still amazed. Its a real beauty and a leightweight.
Around 3,3 kg. The neck is a dream. Very thick but its sugar to play it.
And it sounds so balanced and transparent. Its strat sound in perfection.
Going to play now. smile

Hi,

yes I try to do a soundclip video with my cam next time.
Still my problem is to make them smaller sized to upload them.
But I'll do my very best.

Softmc, yes thats true. I had a collection of 12 guitars and several amps
but I sold off the most stuff and now there are 5 guitars and 4 amps remaining.
But all good ones! smile I'm no millionaire, just look where to get used stuff or good prices.LOL
The JB is to buy alone because its a limited run. They will not drop in value.
But I sold my '57 VOS Goldtop for it. I haven't thought before that the JB would
sound so much better. Thats why I hesitated so long to buy one...

Not that much. I got a discount as I bought already a GT last year.
And the $ were pretty low. That was good for oversea customers in europe.
Anyway, these a real keepers.

WOW now that is a sweet looking guitar.  How long is the actual wait on one Stratovari?  I want a GT so bad...

Hi Ben,

the wait for this one was around 3,5 months.
The GT was the same time. I think this very quick for a custom made guitar.
But to wait is always a bit painful...;)
They might be pricey but they are worth every penny.
I sold almost everything for them..LOL
Go for one. You will not regret.

You know how indian rosewood freatboard sounds??? This cause I found a neck for my telecaster that is flame maple with rosewood freatboard...and i don't know what size of frets i have to choose!!!! Gimme some advice... i posted a thread here... thank you!!!

Hammergerät! Sieht fein aus und ist qualitätsmäßig wahrscheinlich einigen Fendergitarren überlegen. Würde mich freuen das Teilchen mal zu sehen und zu hören.

Awesome guitar with great looks. I guess this guitar is of way higher quality than any Fender. Looking forward to seeing and hearing this nice instrument.

Ich sehe zu in Kürze ein paar Clips zu machen.
Sieht zeitmässig gerade etwas knapp aus.
Aber sie ist wirklich besser als jede Fender die ich hatte.



I will try to make some new clips soon.
Momentarily free time is tight but i'll try my best.
But the GS is indeed better than evry Fender I ever had.
The reason is also the mighty neck which is just awesome.
